What is a "community driven calendar"?

This calendar was created to make a connection between the many talented artists and performers who are presenting events in Berkshire County, MA and the surrounding area, and the world that wants to see them.

What makes this calendar unique is that its content is created by local residents in the Berkshire area who have signed up for an account and posted their coming events.

I hope that by providing a place to share the info about the goings on in the Berkshires, the rest of us could have all that good info in one place. Most importantly, the events will be current and their details will be up to date.

Who created Berkshires Live?

My name is Glenn Geiger. I moved to Great Barrington in June of 2009. I run a local web design, computer service and computer training business called Geiger Computers. This web site went live on December 18th, 2009, and it's still a baby. Ideas like these need time to develop and gain some popularity, which I'm working to increase as we go. I'll be overseeing and maintaining the site for you, and am always looking for ways to improve it.

You can contact me anytime if you have any questions or to leave feedback about the site. I am also available to assist you with your web project, fix your computer, help with technical problems, or help you do just about anything you might need to do on the computer.
